Pemenang Ajang Billboard Music Awards 2016, Penuh Kejutan!

Kapanlagi.com - Ajang Billboard Music Awards kembali digelar pada tahun ini. Digelar di T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Minggu (22/5) waktu setempat, acara ini penuh dengan kejutan.

Tercatat nama Adele menjadi artis dengan gelar bergengsi Top Artist pada ajang ini. Karena tak bisa hadir, ia pun menerima gelar tersebut melalui sebuah video.

Selain itu, ada Justin Bieber yang tercatat sebagai Top Male Artist versi Billoard tahun ini. Rihanna yang sempat meredup tercatat mendapatkan satu gelar berdasarkan voting publik yakni Chart Achievement Award juga pulang dengan wajah gembira karenanya.

Tak lagi Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber atau Adele yang mendominasi dari ajang penghargaan ini. Nama The Weeknd, tercatat merengkuh sebanyak delapan gelar dalam acara yang dihelat oleh salah satu media musik yang menjadi kiblat pop dunia ini.

Penyanyi R&B yang bernama asli Abel Tesfaye ini mendapatkan gelar-gelar antara lain Top Hot 100 Artist sampai Top R&B Artist. Hal ini bisa menjadi pertanda betapa digdayanya album BEAUTY BEHIND THE MADNESS yang ia rilis tahun lalu.
